The Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship Program offers scholarships to students for studying in Hungary. The University of Pécs, the oldest and one of the most prestigious universities in Hungary, offers a large number of degree programs, both full time and part-time study programs.
The Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship program was established by the Hungarian Government for those who live in a Hungarian diaspora outside of Europe and wish to study at a Hungarian higher education institution to develop their personal, professional and cultural relations to Hungary.
Areas of study: Business and Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Education, Music and Visual Arts, Engineering, Health Sciences.
The scholarship will provide: Tuition fee waiver, medical insurance, monthly stipend (upon request), contribution to accommodation costs (upon request), travel contribution (upon request, over 8000 km).
The study programs are available both in English and Hungarian. The Program is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, managed by Tempus Public Foundation.
