Short-term visa to Greece (Visa C, which grants the right to stay for a period of six months for a maximum of 90 calendar days in the country of travel / Schengen zone)

As part of the agreement on visa representation, the Hungarian Embassy accepts applications for Schengen visas to Greece in Bishkek on the following conditions. Visa applications are accepted only from persons who are citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic or have an appropriate residence permit, the validity of which must not expire earlier than three months from the expiration date of the visa.

We ask you to familiarize yourself with the rules of entry into Greece in advance, since having a visa does not guarantee the possibility of entering the country. Official information is available on the following websites: mfa.gr/missionsabroadmfa.gr/en/visastravel.gov.grmfa.gr/en/visas/visas-for-foreigners-traveling-to-greece.

The Consular Section will not accept applications if the applicant's passport is stamped by the Northern Cyprus authorities because they will not be allowed to enter Greece. If the applicant still wants to travel to Greece, it is recommended to change the passport and reapply.

ATTENTION!

Submission of documents for a visa can be done exclusively by an earlier booked appointment through the Visa Center “VFS Global (Bishkek, Kiev st. 62, Business center “Eurasia”, 4th floor, email address: info.hungarykyr@vfshelpline.com). Applications at the Center are accepted daily, from Monday to Friday, 9:00-14:00 hours, except holidays. The Hungarian Embassy does not assist in organizing applications. For all questions regarding registration, please contact the VFS Global Visa Application Center exclusively. The VFS Global Visa Center is responsible for collecting visa applications with all relevant documentation, based on the instructions of the Embassy.

The application must be submitted minimum 15 days and maximum 6 months before the date of the planned trip. Based on the rule (please follow the link for more details Annex 16), the processing time for a Schengen visa is 15 calendar days.

IMPORTANT!

When applying for a visa for the first time, applicants must be fingerprinted and provide a photograph, which can be scanned or taken at the same time as submitting the application. Therefore, the personal presence of the applicant is mandatory. If you have been fingerprinted in the last 59 months to obtain a visa, personal attendance is not required. In this case, the application can be submitted by an authorized person if there is a written power of attorney and a copy of the identity card of the authorized person. In some cases, the personal presence of the applicant may still be mandatory. The following applicants are exempt from the requirement to submit fingerprints:

• children under 12 years old;

• persons for whom fingerprinting is physically impossible. If fewer than 10 fingers can be fingerprinted, the maximum number of fingerprints is recorded. However, if this was a temporary obstacle, the applicant is required to provide fingerprints the next time they apply. The Embassy may request information about the reasons for the temporary obstacle;

• heads of state and government, members of government and their accompanying spouses, as well as members of their official delegations on official trips at the invitation of governments or international organizations;

• monarchs and other prominent members of the royal family on official trips at the invitation of governments or international organizations.

Consular fees are accepted only in EURO! The consular fee must be paid through the bank to the bank account of the Embassy. Details are provided at the time of submission of documents. Visa fees are not charged:
